I. Position Title
Overseas Field Trial & Crop Solution Application Engineer
II. Position Overview
This is neither a traditional sales position nor a general R&D assistant role. It is a key position supporting KING QUENSON’s future international strategic transformation.
KING QUENSON is evolving from a traditional agrochemical product supplier into a provider of comprehensive crop solutions built around the concept of “From Soil to Harvest.”
The successful candidate will work closely with overseas markets and conduct field trials, customer training, data collection, solution validation, and product application promotion across soil improvement, crop nutrition, crop protection, and yield enhancement.
III. Key Responsibilities
- Participate in overseas field trials and product validation programs in key markets, including the Middle East, Africa, Central and South America, and Southeast Asia.
- Assist in developing crop solutions based on the specific conditions of each country, including crop types, climate, soil characteristics, customer requirements, and local farming practices.
- Conduct application testing and performance validation of the company’s products in overseas markets, including crop protection products, crop nutrition products, soil improvement products, and application-enhancing adjuvants.
- Work with overseas customers, distributors, and business partners to establish demonstration plots, comparative trials, efficacy assessments, and field data recording programs.
- Collect local market information, including crop structures, major pests, diseases and weeds, pesticide and fertilizer application practices, competitor products, pricing systems, and customer feedback.
- Prepare standardized technical materials, including field trial reports, photos and videos, product application programs, technical presentations, and customer training materials.
- Support the sales team by using reliable field data and practical trial results to strengthen customer confidence, facilitate product introduction, and support market development.
- Assist the company in establishing an overseas crop solution database and continuously improving product portfolios, application programs, and market promotion strategies.
IV. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Agronomy, Plant Protection, Crop Nutrition, Soil Science, Pesticide Science, Horticulture, Agricultural Resources and Environment, or another related discipline.
- Previous experience in crop protection, pesticides, fertilizers, crop nutrition, field trials, or agricultural technical services is preferred.
- Familiarity with common crop pests, diseases and weeds, crop protection programs, fertilizer application, or crop management practices.
- Willingness and ability to undertake long-term or project-based overseas travel and work directly in local markets and agricultural fields.
- Strong observation, documentation, analysis, and reporting skills, with the ability to convert field observations into useful data and technical materials.
- Candidates who can use English, Russian, Arabic, French, or Spanish as a working language are preferred. Experience in overseas agricultural markets is also an advantage.
- A strong sales background is not required, but the candidate must have good customer communication skills and a strong service mindset.
- Reliable, hardworking, adaptable, and willing to learn, with the ability to work effectively in different countries, cultures, and market environments.
V. Preferred Qualifications
Priority will be given to candidates who have:
- Experience in overseas agricultural projects;
- Experience in field trials, demonstration farms, or product efficacy trials;
- Knowledge of crop protection applications, crop nutrition, or soil improvement;
- The ability to conduct basic technical communication in English;
- Previous experience with an agrochemical company, fertilizer company, biostimulant company, or agricultural service provider;
- A strong interest in developing into a regional overseas technical leader in the future.
