The Canadian Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) has granted the continued registrations for the sale and use of insecticide dimethoate and herbicide prosulfuron in Canada.
Dimethoate is a broad spectrum organophosphate insecticide and acaricide. It is used to control a broad range of insects and mites on a variety of agricultural sites and contributes to insecticide resistance management.
Prosulfuron is a selective herbicide registered for post-emergent control of broadleaf weeds in field corn, seed corn, winter wheat, sorghum and millet.
