EU Extends the Approval Period for 38 Active Substances Including Deltamethrin


On September 3, 2021, the European Union issued Regulation (EU) 2021/1449, extending the approval period for 38 active substances such as deltamethrin. This regulation will take effect on the third day from the date of issuance.


According to the regulations, Deltamethrin、Flufenacet、Fosthiazate、Chlorotoluron、Cypermethrin、Daminozide、MCPA、MCPB、Indoxacarb、Prosulfocarb、Fludioxonil、Clomazone have been approved until October 31, 2022 day.


Tritosulfuron、Chlormequat、Propaquizafop、Quizalofop-P-ethyl and Quizalofop-P-tefuryl was extended to 2022 November 30th.


8-hydroxyquinoline、Amidosulfuron、Nicosulfuron、Clofentezine、Dicamba、Difenoconazole、Lenacil、Picloram、Bifenox、Diflufenican、Fenoxaprop-P、Fenpropidin、Dimethachlor、Etofenprox、Penconazole、Tri-allate、Triflusulfuron、Sulphur、Tetraconazole、Paraffin oils、2-phenylphenol (including its salts such as the sodium salt) have been approved until December 31, 2022.
